Terrible Service We stayed at the RIU Palace. Part of our package included free transfers form the airport and back. Please bear in mind that these transfers are subcontracted to Fisherman's Tours and are not actually run by the Hotel. We spent the first 2 nights in Zanzibar in a different hotel so we could not take advantage of the free airport pickup to the RIU. However, we were expecting to have the free transfer from the hotel back to the airport at the end of our trip. How wrong we were. 3 days before we were due to leave I spoke to reception about booking the transfer back to the airport. They said they could not find the booking on their system even though I was able to show them email confirmation that we had it as part of our package. The front desk then asked me to contact the transfer company myself and speak to a Mr Wahid. So I messaged Mr Wahid on whatsapp. He responded a little while later and I explained the situation. He then told me that he would pick us up at 6:30am on the morning of our departure and that we should be sure to be in reception 10 minutes before. Our flight was at 10am and I did ask Mr Wahid if this was sufficient time to get to the airport given the fact that it takes 1hr 30 mins. He said "this is the normal pickup time". On the morning in question we arrived at the front desk at 6:15am. By 6:45am we had seen no sign of the transfer. I messaged Mr Wahid and got no response. I was then forced to ask reception to book me a taxi at a cost of $60 to take us to the airport as we were at risk of missing our flight. I messaged Mr Wahid later in the day to complain about the situation. I got no response for over 8 hours. He then called and his words were "is there a problem?". My recommendation to anyone looking for a transfer is to either book one yourself privately or alternatively check out a day earlier and spend the last night in hotel near the airport like the Golden Tulip. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely amazing Stone Town+ Prison Island experience! We had such a great experience exploring Stone Town, and we definitely had the BEST guide anyone could ask for! ❤️ Our guide, Abdalla Said, made us enjoy every single second of the experience. He was incredibly kind, lovely, funny, and always had the biggest smile on his face. 😊 His English is 100% fluent, which made communicating so easy, and he was so knowledgeable while also making the tour fun and enjoyable.ohhhh and btw, he is the best photographer 😂 he took alll my photos professionally today 😎 Honestly, I wouldn’t give Abdalla 5 stars… I would give him 10 STARS! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 If you’re visiting Stone Town, ask for Abdalla Said! Great experience Excellent experience touring Stone Town, Zanzibar, thanks to our brilliant and knowledgable tour guide, Rasheed. He was full of facts but also great company and did a very good job of guiding us through some pretty busy and bustling market spots. A hidden gem Very good excursion tours organised for us by Fisherman’s Tours and Travel. Yussuf was very helpful. I would just request the company make sure they provide a full itinerary at the time of booking so it’s clear of what’s going to happen when. An excellent tour operator We travelled to Zanzibar with Trailfinders UK as part of a multi centre holiday and they used Fisherman as their ground company in Zanzibar. We were met at the airport on our arrival and transferred to our Resort in the air conditioned comfort of a mini bus. Most hotels are quite some distance from the airport, the traffic can be bad and the quality of the roads is very variable. As a result this is often a 1 to 2 hour journey. Many tourists seem to assume that Zanzibar is a small island and travel distances equally small. The island is bigger than many expect and the roads do not always follow a direct route to the hotels and resorts. Fortunately we had a very good driver in Salum Abass and in fact he was also the driver allocated for all our trips in Zanzibar. Always punctual and very helpful. On every trip we were offered bottled water which was appreciated. The following day we met with Yussuf at our Resort who gave a number of tour options whilst on the island. His professionalism and attention to detail made us feel comfortable and secure at all times. He conveyed a great deal of trust, and it is clear that he is passionate about what he does. We booked a snorkelling trip and a trip to The Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park through him. Both trips were first class and a little bit cheaper than similar trips arranged by the Resort. We saw masses of fishes on our snorkelling trip and the National Park trip was amazing. We saw red colobus monkeys, a mangrove swamp and a forest with massive mahogany trees. Our guide, Hamis Mussa, provided by Fishermans, was very knowledgeable and was clearly keen to pass on his passion and information to us. The return to trip to the airport on departure was completed just as efficiently as all our trips. Based on our experience we would have no hesitation in recommending Fisherman Tours.

very great experience we had during our trip, tq fishermantours...... I recently completed an 11 Nights / 12 Days tour with Fisherman Tours and Travels Ltd, Zanzibar, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nyere Luxury 2 night Safari with Deo We booked a safari with Fisherman Tours via email prior to our arrival to Zanzibar after the hotel passed their details on to us. They advised appropriately and put the perfect package together for us, we are incredibly grateful for this, the price was reasonable and was on all inclusive basis from the moment we was picked up at 4am from TUI Blue Bahari. We arrived at Nyere National Park at around 8am and was picked up by our incredible guide Deo. We were so lucky to have him, he made our trip and ensured we found the elephants, leopard, lions, giraffes, buffalo, hyena & hippos and was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the birds & wildlife in the park. Deo was the first person to spot the leopard which is very rare to find, we were so lucky for everything we saw. We stayed at the Nyere Luxury Lodges and it was amazing, they decorated our room for arrival and we didn't expect them to be so nice! The rooms all had private pool and the staff were incredible, they did absolutely everything for us and we are very grateful. Deo worked incredibly hard and he personally was worth every single penny, we will recommend him to everyone! Thank you all for the most memorable honeymoon.
